BOZART BISTROT

 In > eat & coffee

This new neighbourhood bistro at the bottom of Oberkampf is serving a tasty seasonal and market-driven menu in a relaxed setting. Run by brother and sister duo Numa et Elsa de La Foata, the menu changes every two months; this winter choose from 5 entrées, mains and desserts including egg en cocotte with gorgonzola cream and bacon (8€), roasted turbot fillet with lemon thyme & parsnip purée (18€) or fried veal liver, sage jus & gratin potatoes (16€), and finish up with the to-die-for house pannacotta (8€) or the cheese platter from Jouannault’s (10€). At lunch, enjoy the fixed price menu offering 2 or 3 courses for 13€ or 17€. There’s also a bar menu featuring half a dozen Cancale oysters (10€) or a charcuterie platter (12€) etc. Because this is also a place to stop by for a drink. Open to 2am, and with an upbeat vibe in the evenings with occasional live gigs, it has a great wine list featuring primarily small producer wines including a number of Corsican vintages.
