LA BUVETTE

 In > eat & coffee

The neon sign of La Buvette beckons passers-by into this new wine shop’s funky lo-fi interior with its white tiles and zinc-topped bar. This traditional Parisian cave has plenty of character and owner Camille, who was formerly at Le Dauphin, welcomes everyone with a smile. Customers can select from the excellent selection of mostly natural wines to take away (from 12€), or sit down to enjoy a bottle (add 8€ corkage fee) or a glass (from 4€) accompanied by the some of La Buvette’s delicious small plates. Food ranges from simple saucisson, fat green olives or giant white beans (6€) to more substantial hot dishes of the day (12€). A winning combination.
11am-2.30pm/ 5.30-10pm (11am-10pm Sat, Sun). Closed Mon.
La Buvette, 67 rue Saint Maur, 11th.
