Brighton Rock out today

Another notable film out today is ‘Brighton Rock’, adapted from Graham Greene’s 1939 novel but with the action updated to 1964 Britain, the year the mods and the rockers were rioting across the south coast. It charts the headlong fall of Pinkie, a razor-wielding disadvantaged teenager, and stars Sam Riley, Andrea Riseborough, Helen Mirren and John Hurt.
