Cinema en Plein Air opens today
‘Youth is an art’ said Oscar Wilde. For their 20th birthday, the Villette’s fabulous outdoor cinema program examines what it is to be 20 years old; so youth through the lens of François Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Ken Loach, Woody Allen, Sofia Coppola, Jim Jarmusch…. The program opens tonight with László Benedek’s 1953 outlaw biker film The Wild One (L’Equipée sauvage) starring Marlon Brando. Find the complete program here.
