Johnny Hallyday for Quentin Tarantino

Johnny Hallyday, the French rocker, revealed in an interview published in Le Parisien on Wednesday that Quentin Tarantino was preparing a film especially for him, but that he hadn’t yet read the script. We can only assume that Hallyday’s surprising role in Hong Kong director Johnnie To’s crime flick Vengeance, which premiered in the official selection at Cannes this year, must have made an impression on Tarantino.
