Le Pavillon du Lac reopens in the Buttes Chaumont

 In > eat & coffee

One of the six 19th-century pavillions in the verdant Buttes Chaumont park has just reopened to the public after more than 15 years lying dormant. Run by the team behind the café Méziane in the Cabaret Sauvage, amongst other busy Paris venues, the Pavillon du Lac is a more refined spot to sip and chat than the colourful ‘restaurant guinguette’ Le Rosa Bonheur, that got the Buttes Chaumont jumping when it opened last year. Le Pavillon du Lac is a ‘gourmet bistro’ serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in 4 different restaurants and on the airy terrace overlooking the lake. Aaaah…
9am-midnight (10pm Sun). Closed Mon.

Don’t go there!!! Waiters and the boss are not cool. They don’t care about customers and let them waiting in vain.. The card is not exceptionnal, very basic but very expensive.. We have to wait to be sitting, to wait to order, to wait to have the meal, to wait to have the bill…… And the waiter never make a smile or apologize for all this lost time… DON’T GO THERE!!!!
