One Star Press at Galerie Perrotin

This Paris art book publisher has been invited by Galerie Perrotin to showcase a selection of their artist’s books, bookshelves and unique projects. Onestar Press is dedicated to the production of books, multiples and movies by artists. Their overall production includes more than 200 books, 200 multiples and artists’ films since 2000. The space and freedom given to artists, the flexibility in the realisation of their concepts, the access to and use of new technologies have allowed Onestar Press to collaborate with international artists from different generations, countries and attitudes on a variety of projects. New York’s MoMA recently purchased their entire collection in a specially designed bookcase by Lawrence Weiner. This exhibition features a series of bookshelves, print portfolios and artist projects, along with the core production of artists’ books by Tim Maul, Nathan Carter, Dzine, Daniel Gordon, Tobias Rehberger, Annika Ström, Lawrence Weiner and many others. The house’s recent imprint Three Star Books also presents artist’s books and special projects which challenge the parameters of artist’s book publishing (productions include a large work on canvas, passport and a lamp).
