Paris Design Week

In > art culture design, > party, > shopping

Starting today and running through til Sunday is the second edition of Paris Design Week, organised by the trade fair Maison et Objet. A series of themed circuits allow you to disover Paris design via a number of different angles – digital, food, architecture, art – via different events, spaces or pieces created by the participating partners, running from Maison Baccarat to the Galerie Armel Soyer or La Pâtisserie des Rêves. Some highlights include ‘7 Parcours Capitaux’ at the St-Ouen fleamarket running through till 24 Sep. Seven star creatives – Vanessa Bruno, Stéphane Chapelle, Pierre Gagnaire, Bruno Racine, Roxane Rodríguez, Philippe Starck, and Yuksek – have each chosen their 20 favourite pieces in the Paul Bert and Serpette markets, with each delightful object identified on its stand with a card. Or what about an open house at Jean Nouvel Design? Check the complete program here.
