'Standing Room' at Le Trianon

Importing the particularly anglophone concepts of spoken word and performance poetry to Paris, literary innovators Shakespeare & Company present the first in a new series ‘Standing Room’. Showcasing the work of one songwriter and one poet, the first installment (in English) will present Piers Faccini‘s songwriting alongside the performance poetry of London poet Francesca Beard. They will perform separately and then come together to create new work on stage. The event will take place in Le Trianon‘s dark and moody bar, the Jardin d’Hiver. Tickets (12€) on presale at the bookshop, at the Trianon café, or via Fnac.
