Yayoi Kusama in the Tuileries

 In > art culture design

The Louvre continues its engagement with contemporary art, presenting in the Tuileries garden, in collaboration with Gagosian Gallery Paris, a series of 15 colourful sculptures ‘Flowers that Bloom at Midnight’ by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Exhibited in France for the first time, these sculptures adds another dimension to the retrospective of Kusama’s work recently on show at the Pompidou Centre, and add a touch of spring to the garden’s autumnal tones. They are visible along along the garden’s central alley, on a lawn surrounded by symmetrically pruned chestnut trees, and will be on view until next spring.
