BREAKFAST BY CARRIE AT LA CONSERVERIE
One of our favourite bars in Paris, La Conserverie in the Sentier, has invited a new talent to take over the kitchens for a special menu. After the fantastic Maori’s Bento which continues at lunchtime, expat photographer, author and foodie Carrie Solomon is now in the kitchen at breakfast. Drop in between 8.30-10.30am for her delicious, home-made, US inspired dishes, including pancakes with organic maple syrup (4.50€); the ‘Breakfast Bio-Dog,’ a sort of pastry ‘corn dog’ made with an organic sausage, and served with vegetable of the moment, kale (4.50€); or the ‘Hash’n’Egg (6€), a baked and tasty mix of organic egg, bacon and hash browns, served with a side of kale.
