PARIS NEW YORK

 In > eat & coffee

A new player on Paris’ burgeoning burger scene is this cool new joint at Strasbourg St Denis, opposite Chez Jeannette. With a cinematic interior, over 2 floors, by local design crew Cut Architectures (who btw also designed Café Coutume), the restaurant proposes a range of burgers (11.40€) boasting flame-grilled Salers beef selected by artisanal 8th arrondissement butcher Le Ponclet including a Vintage Cheeseburger (Somerset Cheddar), Morning California (avocado), and the Smoky Blue (Stilton, bacon, caramelised onions). A chicken and vegetarian option are coming soon. Burgers are served on cute enamelware, with your choice of salad or home-made fries, and the lunch menu (15€) includes your choice of delish drinks including freshly squeezed orange juice or home-made lemonade.
Daily 11am-3pm, 7pm-11pm

I’m curious about the size of the burgers compared to Blend? I thought the Burgers at Blend were tasty but tiny, and the size of the bun and toppings were disproportionately large compared to the beef. My boyfriend had to order two burgers there, so the bill ended up being pretty steep.

Kind of average size, but they do propose an option where for 3.50€ you can “double the size” of your burger. Good for hungry boyfriends!
