This week's films
Highlights of today’s cinema releases include powerful drama Revenge (Haevnen/ In A Better World), Danish director Susanna Bier’s latest, which picked up the Oscar for Best Foreign Film this year. It tells the story of two Danish families in turmoil via the friendship of their two sons.

Ken Loach’s latest Route Irish premiered as part of the official selection at Cannes last year. It’s a tough story about private British security contractors in Irak, though has received universally average reviews.
And Ma part du gâteau is the new film from Cédric Klapisch (L’Auberge Espagnole), starring Karine Viard and Gilles Lellouche in a light-hearted manifesto cum love story about the economic crisis, which has also been badly received by the press.
