Opening to the general public at Le 104 this weekend is the Paris Cookbook Fair, where a mix of publishers, authors, photographers, writers, chefs, stylists, printers, professors and students from over 50 countries get together to celebrate the latest and best releases in cookery books. The fair aims to be a feast, with masterclasses by chefs of the calibre of Jean-François Piège, conferences, Malaysian tribal food, luxury cookbook binding, a wine pentathlon, the International Bar, beer tastings, and much more. Iconoclastic French chef Pierre Gagnaire will present his latest tome, Un Principe d’Émotions, on Sunday at 1pm.
